G.V.U. Akogwu


Mr. Akogwu is the Chairman of Board of Unique Friends Schools. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Honorary Senior member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He also has an MBA in Finance from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and Diploma in Operational Research from Unilag. He is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Institute of Management of Nigeria. Mr. Akogwu has over three decades of branch and Head office banking experience, having resigned from Union Bank of Nigeria Plc in December 2012 as the head of Finance and Planning. Mr. Akogwu is well travelled and has received various local and international trainings. He has an International Diploma in Montessori education from America.
